We want everyone who works with surgical instruments, and everyone else, to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we’ve done
- Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Text meets WCAG contrast requirements against its background.
- Every form field has a label. Errors are shown next to the field they’re about and announced to screen readers.
- The 3D illustrations of instruments are described in text, and nothing on the page depends on seeing them.
- If you’ve asked your device to reduce motion, the illustrations stay still.
- Pages work on screens from small phones to large monitors, without sideways scrolling.
We’ve checked the site with automated accessibility testing and by hand with a keyboard.
What we know isn’t perfect yet
- We haven’t yet tested the site with every screen reader. If something doesn’t read well, please tell us.
- The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep spam out. It usually works without you doing anything, but it can occasionally ask you to tick a box. If it stops you sending the form, email us instead.
